DIRECTIONS

To reach the campus, coming from Nehru Place on Outer Ring Road, follow these directions:

After about half km, turn right from under the first flyover (it's one-way).

After about 300 m, turn left from under the Govind Puri Metro Station (there is IIITD signage here).

After about 300 m, there will be a “Y” - take the left road of the “Y”. Follow signs for IIITD the main gate is after about 500 m.

From Airport:

You can travel from New Delhi IGI Airport to any destination within the city via the following options. Delhi Airport has two main terminals: Terminal 3 is international and Terminal 1 is domestic.

Pre-paid taxis: These are official “pre-paid taxi” counters inside the airport terminal. You see the Terminal building, inside go to the counter and book and pre-pay for a taxi. The rates are fixed by the government and are quite fair. Most counters now can accept card/UPI. You should book a “Non AC” or “AC Taxi.” Follow the signs to the taxi pick-up point.

Uber/Ola: Uber works at specific zones in Delhi and Ola is another local aggregator. Use the airport instructions to find the pickup point.

From Railway Station:

There are three long-distance train terminals where you can get down (if you are coming by train) to reach IIIT-Delhi: These are: New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. The nearest railway station is Okhla, but not all trains stop there. Even if you are coming by train you can always book Ola/Uber cabs to reach IIIT-Delhi from the respective terminals.

From Metro:

The nearest metro station to IIIT-Delhi is Govind Puri Metro Station, which is on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. You can take an auto-rickshaw or a cab from the metro station to reach the campus. The distance is approximately 1 km, and it takes about 5-10 minutes to reach IIIT-Delhi from the metro station.

Alternatively, you can take the metro to Okhla NSIC Metro Station, which is on the Magenta Line. From there, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a cab to reach IIIT-Delhi. The distance is approximately 2 km, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the campus from Okhla NSIC Metro Station.
